Our story
Spikeology was born from the desire to bring the functional benefits of acupressure to those who appreciate a modern and minimal aesthetic.
Founder Siu Coll is a firm believer in living with thoughtful intention - including making space in our daily lives for movement, self-reflection and recovery. When Siu came across the acupressure mat during a period of burnout, she was instantly hooked. Not only did it help to strengthen her meditation practice, she found it to be a miracle worker for easing post-workout aches. The only thing was, she couldn't find an effective acupressure mat that looked how she wanted it to. But, she reasoned, shouldn't our self-care tools also look good to bring greater power to our daily rituals? And so, our story began.
Working with a boutique design studio in Italy and fusing premium materials (such as natural linen/cotton fabrics and coconut fibres) with our acupressure spikes, our functional products help to support deep relaxation, improved sleep quality and natural pain relief.
We're also on a mission to 'Feel Good, Do Good', which is why we're donating 5% of Spikeology sales proceeds to The Mental Health Foundation via Work for Good.
